Club and ATVAM membership increases the riders clout with regulatory agencies, elected officals, and land mangers. By forming a club or network of clubs, the riders are organized and ready for political action to promote or defend the sport.

Clubs and ATVAM can accomplish things that individual riders can't. That has been shown repeatedly throughout the U.S. and Minnesota. Recreationalists are being taken seriously by elected officials and management agencies.
Without organized representation, riders face an uncertain future.
Over regulation at state and federal levels is an ever-present threat. Preservationists will ride roughshod over us
because we are not organized. There will be no places to ride (and law envorcement will crack down on illegal riding).
BOTH LOCAL CLUBS AND STATE ASSOCIATIONS LIKE ATVAM ARE IMPORTANT TO THE FUTUE OF ATV
RECREATION. OPEN TRAILS ATV CLUB BY LAWS REQUIRES ALL MEMBERS TO BE MEMBERS OF ATVAM.
